Always an avid writer and reader, while attending Louisiana State University, Tonia decided to try her hand at writing a novel based “loosely” around the lives, fantasies, and experiences of her college roommates. That idea would manifest itself into the first of three novels that still leave readers hooked from start to finish.
Tonia moved back to Houston after graduation to pursue a career in Education and to continue reaching for her goal of becoming the next big bestselling author. Since her return, she has released both the sequel to Fashionably Deceptive, A Fashionable Revelation, and her first stand alone novel, Punishment is Due. All three of her novels debuted on the Amazon best-selling list for her genre.
When Tonia is not writing or working with adolescents, she is helping other writers self publish their work through The Write School, connecting bibliophiles via Pass or Pub, or curating travels experiences through her travel company, Travels by Tonia.
